Area Manager - U.S. Area Manager General Duties and Responsibilities (This is a list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not all-inclusive) • Lead and manage a team by training, developing and coaching team members and managing driver contractors on a consistent basis • Hire drivers or contractor couriers and monitor new hires • Train team members on all aspects of job duties as well as company rules and procedures • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and all company policies and procedures for all drivers • Evaluate the efficiency and productivity of drivers based on performance standards and objectives, including conducting regular Operations Reviews and Performance Assessments • Ensure that all drivers provide a positive customer experience • Coach, counsel, discipline and/or terminate drivers when performance issues or violations of Standard Operating Procedures and/or policies and procedures occur • Responsible for on-time performance in local market. Requires monitoring and coaching of couriers to ensure local operations meet company standards • Promote a culture of safety through training, coaching and counseling regarding negative safety behaviors, reinforcement of positive safety behaviors, and through leading by example for all team members • Work closely with Sales team to enhance customer experience, improve customer understanding of the service offering, and help implement customized operations as needed • Coordinate with customers, providing regular updates, handling delays or other issues as they arise • Dispatch drivers when necessary • Customer Service • Ensure couriers have appropriate information to make deliveries • All other duties as assigned or required • Must be able to work on-site and remotely
IT Manager - Salt Lake City, UT Our company is searching for an IT Manager to help our Logistics company with all of our IT needs. We are a new(ish) company with an expanding customer base. We had a gentleman who did IT work for us who relocated after the COVID-19 situation. - We need someone who can help grow our customer base and help with all the Technical stuff. - Integration with our customers to automate the exchange of information is important to us. - We will necessarily need to change a lot of our business structure and operations to adapt to the new norm. We are looking to modernize our entire process. - Looking for someone who's flexible with pay and will allow us to grow a bit before settling into a salary. - Opportunity for ownership stake / profit sharing for the right person. Remember we are a startup and this is the most important thing to consider. - Our clients are primarily Medical/Healthcare, Aerospace & Legal so the work is sustainable and essential according to CISA. - We also work directly with consumers. - There will be a lot of remote work involved. Logistics Coordinator - Anywhere, US Startup Courier/Logistics Company is seeking a Logistics Coordiantor/Supervisor to help with day to day operations with our company as we continue to grow in the area. The position will be mostly remote but there will be periods of time in office and the incumbent will be required to be in office as required. Supervisor - Summary of Responsibilities: Report to the Operations Manager & Logistics Manager, the incumbent would be responsible for coordinating courier and logistics for our clients. The supervisor will, supervise, coach, motivate, train and evaluate couriers. Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time, assigning routes or jobs to individual couriers and operating within the constraints of a budget. They will deal directly with clients, carriers and different departments within the company. They are required to manage operations effectively and efficiently and to consistently ensure that clients are satisfied. Upon request, they will perform all other tasks related to this position. Specific Responsibilities: Operations 80% • Serves as the main representative of our company between vendors and employee drivers. • Ensures that all services are delivered according to clients standards, clients’ specifications and KPIs. • Drive, monitor, enhance,and Develop business. • Analyzes client requests and propose appropriate solutions. • Ensures that operations requested by the client comply with transportation standards. • Conducts necessary research with carriers (all modes) in order to respond adequately to client requests and, if necessary, seeks assistance from their team leader. • Selects carriers and vendors according to clients’ needs and specified criteria. • Prepares proposals for clients based on all their specifications, validates terms and obtains necessary approvals. • Follows procedures established by the department. • Files Nightly performance reports • Coordinates logistics/operations in compliance with OSHA/HIPAA/DOT. • Complies with all applicable laws and CDC guidelines • Handles pick-ups and deliveries according to clients’ SOP requirements and conducts audits of internal procedures; • Manages daily priorities related to the logistics and operations of his clients’ cargo, and ensures all required documents are completed with precision. • Processes required shipping documents with a high degree of accuracy. Tracks and traces the client’s cargo and keeps them informed in real-time of the status of his shipment. • Suggests solutions when operations problems arise. • Complies with clients SOPs • Offers the best solutions to clients and acts in a way that ensures their loyalty; • Liaises with the different parties. Proactively identifies potential problems and ensures the situations are resolved as quickly as possible, keeping the client informed and supporting him in finding solutions Role and Liaison Other Duties 20% • Participates in meetings required by the employer • Maintains good relations with colleagues, carriers & positively contributes to work climate • Collects and shares relevant information about clients, carriers & vendors, work tools, forms and data with all internal parties • Develops & Ensures SOPs are always up to date and informs your direct supervisor to report concerns of any changes in the SOPs. • Complies with company policies and procedures • Driving may be required and will be reimbursed • More duties as assigned Small business with advancement opportunities. Sales Rep - Anywhere, US Startup seeking a sales rep to foster new relationships with potential clients and assist when needed to fulfill existing deliveries. The position is intended to start out as a sales representative with some driving responsibilities with the intention of transitioning into an Account Executive and Area Manager.
